Comprehensive Evaluation

The first step in your treatment is a comprehensive evaluation, which includes:

  • In-depth questioning regarding your bladder, bowel, and reproductive functioning
  • A general exam to assess your posture, motion in your back and legs, reflexes, and lower extremity strength
  • An abdominal assessment
  • External and internal pelvic muscle assessments (with patient consent)

Your therapist will work with you to design a treatment plan based on the results of your evaluation and your individual needs.
